Short
It's called short-ร -pont in French, fall-front shorts in English. These are shorts with a flap over a front opening, buttoned on both sides. Open and close in the back.
This design is inherited from the maritime world and the pants worn by French merchants and fishermen in the 18th century. We've hijacked the design by reversing it to create a low-cut at the back in homage to Mireille Darc's black dress and the infamous low rise jeans of the 00's.
